Visual Studio 2015 restarting from time to time.

Hi, I'm slowly (and somewhat reluctantly) switching over to Visual Studio 2015 Community (Version 14.0.24720.00 Update 1) and have found that the IDE restarts from time to time while working on my projects. I never saw that type of behavior while working in VS C# 2010.

The IDE seems to "reboot or restart" itself and then quickly comes back up. - Has anyone also experienced this behavior?

I don't believe its my hardware, because my laptop is a brand new Toshiba, Satellite, AMD A8, and nothing else has any issues running on that hardware platform.

Any thoughts?

I don't experience this behavior.

Try disabling all your add-ins? Have you found anything in the event viewer?

Hi Eric, nice to hear from you again. I haven't looked at the add-Ins. I'm not sure where they are, but will look into it. I'm really new with 2015, so although its the same process, it still feels a bit unfamiliar thus far.

Richard, you were spot on...my version (Version 1) has been deprecated. They just released version 3 earlier this month, do I'm updating to that. This version claims to have resolved some of the stability issues.

One word of warning...if you're in a hurry - DO NOT do the upgrade. It takes for-ever!!!!
