Adding web page to access corporate wireless network
My company has tasked me with installing a wireless network for the guest that visit the company and need internet access. The CEO would also like the feature that is often found in hotels that when you first access the page you are redirected to a web page with a disclaimer that must be accepted before access is given. I have decided on going with a sonicwall wireless device but how can I get the web page to appear before access is given to the network?
You'll need a "hot spot" for this. Some firewall have access point, I use a small Checkpoint firewall for this. You can add also users for temporary access for like one day, so your wifi is not used by anyone who is in the neighborhood or your own users.

@gilm0079 :: yes...i neglected the guest authentication. as you say, it not only takes work to implement, but it can be a pain to maintain. setting up the guest user accounts, passwords, providing them to guests, etc. it's possible to setup a user who can create those accounts and maintain them without the IT admin being involved, but that didn't really work for me either.
it's easier, in my opinion, to setup guest access and monitor the traffic with viewpoint.
